We have also put in a lot of other tweaks and fixes, including finally dealing with that knotty problem of retiring drivers.

We are thrilled to announce that we have just launched the Trukz toolbar - a browser tool build to integrate some of the most used features in the game, and facilitate access to them while surfing away.

Works on: IE and Firefox - Safari to be supported soon.

Features:

- Trukz-enhanced search engine: you will find the search box near the Trukz logo on your toolbar. Click the dropdown arrow near the magnifying class to select in-game search options.

- Account login: you can log into your Trukz account straight from your toolbar, in order to access account-related features and information. To do so, click the “Account” button.

Features available while logged in:

- Dashboard shortcut: click the “Dashboard” button in order to access your game dashboard.

- My Trukz is where you will find shortucts to access the My Driver, My Inbox, Purchase Items, Banking and CB Radio sections. As with any features that are specific to your account, you will need to be logged in to use them.

- Info section: is where you can see your Driver Achievements and Game Statistics. You can also edit your driver or go to the game forums if you wish.

- Inbox alert: once logged in, you will be able to see in real time when you receive a message in your Trukz inbox and get straight to it.

- Driver rating: your driver rating will be displayed in your toolbar while you’re logged in.

- Fatigue points: your driver’s fatigue points will be displayed and updated directly in your toolbar. You will know when you are ready to resume driving, without having to constantly log into Trukz and check your driver.

- Game clock with open contracts: next to your fatigue points, you will notice a clock showing the game time. It links to the open contracts that are up for bid.

- Company contracts: if you run a company, the percentage of contracts completion will be displayed in your toolbar.

Additionally, you’ll be given a number of options for your toolbar that you can select when installing it: local weather, radio stations, email notifier are some of them. If at any point you wish to add/remove/edit these, you can do so from the toolbar options available from the dropdown menu next to the Trukz logo.

Note: some of the account-related features may require you to refresh the toolbar after having logging in. To do so, click the “Refresh toolbar” button available in the dropdown menu next to the Trukz logo.

In total, you’ll see 39 new trucks from companies including DAF, Freightliner, GMC, Volvo, Scania and several others. These will be distributed across all the continents in this pattern:

Another thing you need to do is to watch the speed. You can safely go 5 mph over the posted speed limit. You also have to watch the weather top speed, anything more than 5 mph over here will crash your truck. You also need to watch the price of fuel, it will range from $3.18 a gallon to $1.85 a gallon, the obvious is here, but you don’t want to fuel until you are like 40% of fuel left.

Company Achievements are now live in the game - do check them out!

The game will be coming down for an hour, tomorrow, 5th March, at 6am game time for approximately one hour to implement company achievements.

We have now released a fix which should mean that if FaceBook is blocked at someone’s workplace they will still be able to load trukz.com.

None of the FaceBook functionality will however be available to them if this happens.

We are proud to announce the latest addition to Trukz  - the integration of FaceBook Connect which will allow you to connect your face book account to the game.

So now you can Connect and find your friends who are also playing Trukz with a handy collapsible friend list which is viewable in game.

This gives you a great chance to share information and in-game actions with all your friends.

The first time that you use the application, you will need to follow the simple on-screen instructions for synching your Trukz and FaceBook accounts - then you are Connected!
